Summer School

Monday 30th July - Tuesday 31st July - Hollowford Centre

After the success of last year we are holding our annual Summer School right before our AGM. Delegates can arrive one day early to access the Young Advisors Light Training to become qualified Young Advisors, making you eligible to stay for the rest of the Residential Weekend for FREE!

Spaces for AGM this year are going to be limited this year to 5 young people and 1 adult lead per team - this is due to the increase in the Young Advisors movement and our commitment to ensure that as many different cohorts as possible are represented at the event

If you attend Summer School you are of course welcome at AGM, and we would recommend that you stay and kick off your YA experience with our brilliant residential weekend. However, your place will be counted as part of your teams allocation.

We're charging just £200pp (ex VAT)* for accommodation, food, training, membership and accreditation.

Membership as always gives you the following benefits:

  1. Access to National Commissions where you can earn money back through the charity by getting involved in national pieces of work. Young Advisors over the last two years have earnt over £64,510 through the charity equivalent to 8,064 hours of work

  2. Free places at our Residential AGM which includes free training, activities food and accommodation

  4. Access to the members area of our site giving you tools and resources that will help you make a success of your project

  5. Support from the charity to help make sure your project succeeds and remains enterprising

  6. The ability to stand to become a trustee of the charity and direct our future work

  7. Free subscription to our eNewsletter

  8. Your project can also deliver training and accredit it through us for free with AQA (Subject to application and competencies)
