Sefton Young Advisors Go Back to School

Young Advisors Matt Smith and Kim Cooper were commissioned to carry out a piece of consultation with all the local Primary Schools within the Litherland ward of Sefton. The piece of consultation aimed to find out what activities were being put on for children and young people during and after school.

Matt and Kim cleverly put together a 'wish tree' with the children, which then stands in each of the schools for a set period of time. Each child/young person is then given a couple of leaves each on which they can write ideas for what they want to see in their area.

The information gathered will then be submitted to the commissioners and Sefton Council. The result, hopefully plenty more for children and young people in Sefton to do!

If you'd like more ideas about creative consutation methods, contact the charity who'll be happy to help.
