Improving Sexual Health

Terence Higgins Trust directly employed the Young Advisors to do outreach for their sexual health clinic in Henley Green. The clinics target group was young people living in the NDC area, unfortunately the awareness of the clinic was poor. The Young Advisors provided feedback on the publicity and promotional material for the clinic based on their own views, this resulted in the name of the clinic being changed along with some changes to the way the THT was advertising the clinic.

The Young Advisors then undertook direct outreach in the local area with young people to raise their awareness of the clinic and its opening hours. As a result of this there was an increase in the number of people aware of the clinic and there was an increase in its attendance rates.
