Lancashire YA and meeting with the Chief Executive of Lancs NHS Trust

Young Advisors met with Joe Rafferty on 24th April 2009 to receive their certificates for working towards or achieving their training awards with the National Charity. The YA's 'wowed' the Chief Executive with their proposals to Youth Proof the Organisation. The YA's have been working with Sound Skills, Preston and have produced some fantastic advertising and marketing materials which will be published soon. The YA's highlight how they would help hit targets within the NHS, tackling issue directly affecting young people. Over the last year the YA's have been work around breast-feeding and work towards WCC (World Class Commissioning). The work has been to such a high standard that after there meeting with the Chief Executive they where then invited to attend a meeting to present to the board.
