Young Advisors say 'Vote!'

Politics and Youth Engagement

18-24 year olds are least likely to be registered for, and vote in elections. Using young people to engage with their peers can effectively get across the message of the importance of voting. Waltham Forest trained 10 Young Advisors in engagement and ‘neutrality’ and delivered road shows in Walthamstow and Leyton.

The Young Advisors at Waltham Forest spoke to approximately 400 young people about the importance of voting and helped 102 young people register to vote.
