Weymouth and Portland Young Advisors Produce Short Film for B-Side’s Bike Powered Cinema Project

The Young Advisors were commissioned by B-Side to make, produce and edit a short film around the Bike Powered Cinema project. Young people aged 14-17 worked with a professional film maker to interview staff members from B-Side and Synergy Housing as well as local artists to identify the history behind the project.

The Young Advisors film crew then interviewed young people making the Bike Powered Cinema and chatted about what this meant to them and other ways this resource could be used. The young people supported a youth centre on Portland to host the launch event of the Bike Powered Cinema and as well as filming the event the young people successfully edited a short film about the making of the cinema to play at the event.

The short film about the Bike Powered Cinema will be available early august from B-Side….
